On , you had a hand-held mobile device event which is your: .  Windstar Lines has a strict 3rd strike policy with regards to hand-held mobile device usage while operating a commercial vehicle.  This is in violation of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and can result in penalties for the driver of $2,750 and for the Windstar Lines up to $11,000.

The purpose of this warning letter is to ensure you understand our company policy regarding hand-held mobile device usage. If you have another hand held mobile device event, you will become subject to additional disciplinary action up to and including discharge from our company.

If you have questions on this matter, please contact your Manager or the Safety Director. It is our goal to do everything within our power to help make you successful as a professional motor coach operator. You are a valuable employee to Windstar Lines, Inc. and we want you to be able to continue with this relationship and employment with us.
